Nominations are now open!
The G15 group in partnership with UNIFY will be hosting the Ethnicity in Housing Awards again, following on from its success last year. This award ceremony is to celebrate the achievements and contribution of minority ethnic colleagues in the housing sector.
Nominations are now open for all G15 organisations and close on Friday 31st March 2023.
The winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony taking place on 25 May.
Now is your chance to nominate your colleagues.
Colleagues from across G15 member organisations are invited to make the nominations in the following categories.
- Resident Focus Award – Celebrating a minority ethnic colleague who has made a significant contribution to residents.
- Outstanding Achievement Award – Honouring a minority ethnic colleague whose contributions has broken new ground in their organisation, or the sector, and laid the foundations for others.
- Future Leader Award – Recognising a minority ethnic colleague aged under 35 who does more than what is required, and takes every opportunity to grow, develop and always strives to be the best version of themselves.
- Supportive Colleague Award – Recognising a minority ethnic colleague in your organisation who is highly valued by their colleagues for the work they do on racial equality matters and for the support they show others.
- Ethnicity Colleague Network Group Award – Recognising the work of a colleague-led group that’s made a real difference to their organisation and wider communities.
- Ethnicity Ally Award: Celebrating any non-ethnic minority colleague who acts to advance equality in ethnicity and has effectively helped further the ethnicity agenda within their workplace.
- Early Housing Career Award – Recognising a minority ethnic colleague who is new to the sector, or new to their career, and has made a noteworthy contribution to advance themselves, their organisation, and the community around them.
Criteria for all nominations:
To make a nomination to any of the categories, you must be a member of the G15 group.
Criteria for all nominations:
- Can be for colleagues operating in any department and any location (eg. outside of London).
- Please provide at least 2 examples for each nomination, clearly demonstrating why they should win.
- Nominations should be between 200 and 400 words.
Closing date for nominations is Friday 31 March 2023
