DSMP – The G15 & UNIFY Mentoring Opportunity

‘A fresh mentoring opportunity for ethnically diverse talent working in Development and Sales within the Housing sector’

G15 Diverse Development & Sales Mentorship Programme 2022-23

The G15 & UNIFY recognise the importance of nurturing and supporting diverse talent in the sector and are pleased to announce our inaugural G15 Diverse Development and Sales Mentorship Programme (DSMP).

About The DDBN

The G15 is the group of London’s largest housing associations with members managing almost 600,000 homes. UNIFY is a Housing sector collective of Black, Asian & Ethnically Diverse networks with an overarching goal to increase inclusive opportunities at all levels. Together we aim to continue addressing under-representation at Executive and Board levels by giving you an opportunity to tap into a network of Development & Sales industry leader’s with proven know-how. This network brings together over 20 mentors at Director or Head of Service level from 10 major housing associations to provide guidance and career advice to aspiring leaders.

Mentee Criteria

The G15 Development Directors invite Black, Asian and Ethnically Diverse colleagues to apply to become a mentee who meet the following criteria:

  • Open to anyone below ‘Head of’ level
  • Work in Development and Sales
  • Member of UNIFY Network (FREE to join).

How can you apply?

In the first instance please contact Lorraine Roast at [email protected] and advise which mentor you are most interested in pairing with. If you are not already a UNIFY member then you’ll simply need to sign up for free via this link. More programme details will be shared once we receive your application.

Why do I need to be a UNIFY member?

UNIFY is a voluntary network that believes in the power of building self-sustaining communities to ensure initiatives like this can continue to be accessible. To help influence change we need to be able to tap into a network of diverse people within the housing sector. By signing up you agree to be added to our contact list where you benefit from priority access to our services and join our future Alumni Groups which aim to give back and strengthen our community in various ways.

How much time do I have to apply?

We would like to fill all available spots by the end of April 2022. As this is an informal mentoring programme we can be flexible with applications upon request.
